    not terrible at least you know how to counter steer so you dont spin out

    haha. i just wonder what the heck you have in the winter tires? Hard PVC Plastics?

    Its a lot more in depth than just stabbing the throttle
    And you don’t want to jerk the wheel. That will upset the car or ruin the slide. Input needs to be smooth, with the throttle, brake, and steering.

    i was going to buy a 06 wrx but i finished up buying a toyota fj instead.
    i went for the huge suv haha

    the oversteer correction in an AWD works by basically stabbing the throttle and jerking with a quick countersteer, then back to neutral steer. when slowly sliding, it’s really best to take your hands off the wheel after initial turn-in and the slide can be completely controlled by throttle input.

    Yeah, I crashed once because I learned oversteer correction in a RWD car, it doesn’t work the same in AWD

    thats not how you drive an AWD car.

    Not that I’m a professional drifter or anything, but I know enough to give this abvice: countersteer.
