U.S. Freestyle Championships returning to Squaw Valley

PARK CITY, UTAH – Freestyle athletes from across the nation will again wrap up their winter season at Squaw Valley USA in March as the 2010 Sprint U.S. Freestyle Championships makes its way to the Lake Tahoe region during the 50th anniversary of the 1960 Squaw Valley USA Olympics.
Moguls, dual moguls, aerials and skier halfpipe titles will be awarded to the best in the U.S. from March 25-28.
“The Sprint U.S. Freestyle Championships are a fantastic opportunity for the best U.S. athletes in freestyle skiing to be able to compete for a home crowd,” said Calum Clar, USSA vice president of events. “In its 50th anniversary year since hosting the Olympics, Squaw Valley will be the ideal place for freestyle athletes to end the 2010 Olympic season in Tahoe. It will be a homecoming among many friends and family of freestyle skiing. We look forward to high quality competition for the Sprint U.S. Freestyle Championships at Squaw.”
